This book was by far the largest editing project I have done. I learned so much since I've first published and I have tried to incorporate that into this book. I have already begun my edits for the second book (as I've said they are hand written) and I have included the first chapter of the next book "Miranda's Amulet" at the end of this first book.
I am running a special promotion of 99 cents initially for this book Nervously I wade into new waters. Romance however is a main theme in this book.
One thing I have learned, as much as I complain about Amazon's lack of categories they are going to work with me. I put it in paranormal on Smashwords, let's hope I don't catch any flack.
After apocalyptic storms, Sara finds herself forced to live separated from her family, inside the castle which belongs to the newly imposed monarchy run by The Rosen Family, due to a deal made without her knowledge.

Join the 19-year-old Sara in this: sci-fi, futuristic, romantic fantasy… in the name of love, loss, and magic.
So lead up...She left the room pissed and then heard Samuel sticking up for her. She attempted to listen at the door and then unfortunately Samuel barreled through the door, knocking Sara down in the process. He went to help her up...PS Thomas our Prince is insanely jealous. And surely not happy to see Sara in his brothers arms.
EXCERPT: (our feisty heroine Sara)
“What the?” Thomas said shaking his head.
Sara swallowed, it did look pretty bad.
“Is this part of your training?” Thomas growled.
“Thomas, it’s not what you think.” Sara tried to explain, as Samuel helped her to her feet. “Thank you,” she said to Samuel quickly. “Thomas wait!” She went to run after him but ran right into a guard who stopped her. “Thomas!” she yelled in vain. She looked back at Samuel. “I’m sorry Samuel. I hope he doesn’t take it out on you. He infuriates me.” She let out a small frustrated low growl.
“Sam. My friends call me Sam.” He smiled.
“He obviously has a lower opinion of me then I thought,” she said, as they walked back. He made sure she was safe in her suite. “I guess I’m glad I never told him,” she said quietly.
“Told him?” Samuel gave her a puzzled look
She sighed. “He keeps saying he loves me so I’ll say it back. I’ve been afraid to. And, well, honestly, I think I have good reason.” She looked down and a tear trickled out.
“But you do?” He said it more like a statement then a question.
“Just go,” she said rushing to the bathroom, more tears pouring out, she couldn’t contain them.
“Sara,” Samuel caught the door the same way Argon had before with his foot. “A man needs to know that, even if he’s being a foolish imbecile.”
“You don’t understand.” She ripped the door open. “I want someone who will stand up for me. Defend my honor. Not cower behind the skirt of his mother. Yes, I speak out of turn. I’m not perfect, but I cannot be in love with him. I need to be back in the woods with my family, my sisters, and my father. I feel like a poser here. No one understands me. And just when I think he does, he, he-” She threw her hands up exasperated.
