His style for much of his writing is one not many people do, second person. Meaning you, the reader, are the voice and the main person in the story. It is a unique experience for a reader. Not all of his work is in this form; The Ravishing is the one that you will experience this the most, as well as some of his work on his blog. Sin City Stripping is not and woah momma has a well rounded blend of fetishes and sexy fun in it.
He was the first to jump on board in the multi-author anthology, which is called Sexy Holiday Bites. PS this is free so grab it!
Here is a personal story written for me on his blog for my birthday. Fire and Ice: Suzy’s Submission. Click here!
Another “personal favorite”, Punishment for being Lazy. Click here!
So be sure to check them all out and read on to see what he has to say for himself. ;)
John Satisfy: First off, thank you so much Suzy for taking some time to interview me. You have a wonderful website here and I’m so glad to be a part of it.
Something most people don’t know about me is that I like to clean. I find it relaxing and mentally cleansing. It gives me a chance to listen to lyrics of songs, podcasts, or just zone out and let my mind go. I try to wax my car at least once a year so I have a few hours to myself and I can work out story ideas or problems.
This also means that it’s my responsibility to do a good chunk of the house cleaning and I do it without a fight.
Suzy Ayers: Who is a mentor or someone that you look up to/inspires you?
John Satisfy: I think the entire Indie writing community is so inspirational. Everyone seems to be out there giving each other tips and selflessly helping each other. It’s been a fantastic community that I am so happy to be a part of.
Suzy Ayers: What is the biggest piece of advice you find that you give most often to aspiring writers?
John Satisfy: Read! It is amazing, but since I’ve been writing I’ve found that I’m learning a ton just by reading other authors. Sometimes there’s words I forget about and it’s great way to help grow your vocabulary. It’s also a wonderful way to see other people’s styles and sometimes there’s a lot to glean just from that. Pay attention to the structure and try to determine what works and what doesn’t, and also why it doesn’t work. It will help you to avoid some pitfalls.
And of course, the only way you’ll truly be a writer is by writing, so set some time aside each day to write.
Suzy Ayers: Tell us the book you’re excited to share with us...
John Satisfy: I’d like everyone to know about Teased & Pleased: An Erotic Anthology. This is my Amazon exclusive book about pampering, pleasing, and power plays. There are five stories contained within, three of which are completely independent.
1. Breakfast in Bed - It's Saturday Morning and what could be more delicious than having your breakfast in bed? Maybe sharing the experience with your captivated partner.
2. Teased & Pleased - Waking up after a crazy night, I see you lying there and can’t help but want to pamper you this morning. A long, delicious shower followed by a nice massage, maybe a few treats along the way.
3. Blissful Awakenings - I've had the sweetest dreams of you, and now I’m going to make them a reality. Imagine the look on your face when you wake up to that!
4. Good End to the Day - Coming home after a day at work, you’re surprised by dinner piping hot on the stove, being bathed, and then the most incredible sex you've had in a long time.
You can read this one right now for FREE! Click here!
5. The End is Just the Beginning - Picking up right after a Good End… I wake up and I haven’t had my fill of you yet. Once you've woken up you find you need your desires satiated as well.
John Satisfy: With 2014 just getting started, I’ve got a lot of exciting things I’m working on. I’m most excited about my blog, eroticsatisfiction.com. Starting this month I’m going to be making some changes, cleaning it up, and working on the focus. Right now the focus has been on writing stories each week, and there are a ton of them up there for free, but that will be changing. I will still be posting stories, but I’ll also be trying to do reviews of books, information about the eBook world (both for writers and readers) and some more promotions for other authors. I’m very excited about it.
I’m hoping that this will free up some of my time so I can write the second book in Jessie’s Erotic Awakening series. Last year my first book was Sin City Stripping, following the exploits of Jessie as she and her two friends decide to do some amateur stripping for her Husband and his two friends. Now, she’s back home, and life has done anything other than go back to normal. After the experiences she had in Las Vegas, there is no way that could happen. In her second book, Jessie will have erotic encounters much closer to home, more real, less theatrical. The working title is Daily Grind and it will have four or so short stories in it, the last of which will set the stage for her next big adventure.
