BJ Wane #AuthorSpotlight

I actually don't know BJ Wane  so we are both meeting a new author together. That is why Author Spotlights are great! I love meeting new author friends. I had reached out to my spanking authors and asked if anyone wanted to come play on my page. What better way to start things off than with a BJ. :p Enjoy my lovelies. xx
So, on to the questions for BJ Wane...I wonder what we have in store. I always love getting to the heart of the author.

Suzy Ayers: A milestone or goal you hope to accomplish this year.

BJ Wane: I have already reached my goal for this year-getting accepted by two new publishers!

Wow! So awesome and best of luck with that.

Suzy Ayers: What’s the typical length of time to write vs. length of book?

BJ Wane: A short story, around 40,000 words, will take about two months including editing.  I’ve written two full length novels, 120,000+ words, which took over four months, including research and editing.  They were exhausting, but fun!

Suzy Ayers: What do you still get tripped up on?

BJ Wane: Dialog!  I’m a very quiet person, would rather listen than talk, so dialog comes very hard for me.  It is such an important part of a book that I spend more time on it than anything else.

Suzy Ayers: As a reader what do you look for and do you think that plays into how you write?

BJ Wane: Because I don’t have much time to read, I’ve become very picky, too picky according to friends I exchange books with!  I have a mental block against anything written in the first person, so that leaves out a lot of books.  I like strong heroines, but women who walk into a bar, take out three big guys without breaking a fingernail are definite turn offs for me.  I need a little reality!  My favorite genre to read is romantic suspense and I LOVE gothics, but you rarely see those anymore.

Suzy Ayers: Tell us the book you’re excited to share with us...

BJ Wane: I’m sharing BIND ME TO YOU today, part of my Virginia Blueblood series that
started with BLINDSIDED.  Don’t worry if you haven’t read Blindsided-these are all standalone reads and can be read in any order.

Suzy Ayers: Where are you going next? What is your next project/book?

BJ Wane: My next release is SURRENDER TO ME, another book in this series, and it will be
out May 22.  I am working on BLACKMAILED now, the last in this series.

About BIND ME TO YOU

Camille Statler would do anything for her sister and nephew, including going to a sex club with the intention of getting damning evidence to hold against Joshua’s father to stop his custody suit.  Much to her dismay, she finds Declan Whitmore owns The Warehouse and her attraction to him is just as strong as when they met briefly a few months earlier.

Declan welcomes Camille into his club even though he knows she’s hiding something from him.  Over the next few weeks, she succumbs to his dominance and responds to his controlling discipline but to his frustration, refuses to reveal anything personal about herself. The more time they spend together in and out of the club, the more Camille and Dec want each other.  But soon Dec discovers her deceit and Camille is left to wonder if she waited too long to come clean with him.

Excerpt:

Dec didn’t know what he would do, how he’d react if she said no.  Thank God he didn’t have to find out because, with a look of relief, she followed him to the elevator without a word.
He couldn’t recall a time when he wanted a woman more, not even in his horny college days when women were all he thought about.  It’s just pent up frustration from pent up lust he told himself as they exited the elevator and he led her into the first room on the right.  From the way his cock pressed with painful insistence against his zipper, he felt as if he could explode any second.  He knew he would’ve had no qualms about hauling her outside and taking her against the brick side of the warehouse if he had found all the second floor, private rooms taken when he stopped on this floor on his way downstairs earlier.

“Strip,” he ordered without preamble, tightening his jaw against the surge of possessive pleasure he experienced eyeing the cuffs he had left on her wrists and ankles.  They were wide, thick and bulky.  He wanted her to know she had them on, know who put them there and accept what they meant as long as she wore them.  Her hands shook as she finished unbuttoning her top, her expressive eyes shifting away from his when she shrugged it and her bra off her shoulders.

Holding out his hand, he took them, saying, “Now the skirt.”

Camille kept quiet, afraid if she said anything it would be the wrong thing and he’d send her away.  With her palms sliding flat against her waist, she lowered the skirt, taking her panties the rest of the way down with it, conscious of the heavy feel of the cuffs.  They were bulky and cumbersome around her wrists and ankles, but strangely comforting in a weird, somewhat sexual way.  She assumed he would remove them when he finished with her, and she’d been both relieved and pleased he wasn’t ready to end the night just yet.  She had difficulty swallowing around the lump of vulnerability stuck in her throat when she stood naked before him, but as his
gaze took a slow slide down her body, hot enough to inflame her smoldering arousal, her body responded with its usual fever.
About this author...Who is BJ Wane?

I live in the Midwest with my husband and our two dogs, a Poodle/Pyrenees mix and an Irish Water Spaniel.  I love dogs, enjoy spending time with my daughter, babysitting her two dogs, reading and working puzzles.  We have traveled extensively throughout the states, Canada and just once overseas, but I much prefer being homebody.  I worked for a while writing articles for a local magazine but soon found my interest in writing for myself peaking.  My first book was
strictly spanking erotica, but I slowly evolved to writing erotic romance with an emphasis on spanking.

Recent accolades include: 5 star, Top Pick review from The Romance Reviews for

BLINDSIDED, 5 star review from Long & Short Reviews for HANNAH & THE DOM NEXT

DOOR, which was also voted Erotic Romance of the Month on LASR, and my most recent title,

HER MASTER AT LAST took two spots on Amazon’s top 100 lists in BDSM erotica and

Christa just had an author anniversary for her first book Broken. Let's say welcome and congrats! I was invited to a book signing called NEWS last fall by the lovely Christa and I was so excited to go. It was located here in Mass. She helped put NEWS together and I applaud her for taking on that undertaking. See another picture below from that.

Well, enough chatter, on to the main event...
Suzy Ayers: What is something people aren’t likely to know about you?

Christa:  This is a total random fact.  I don’t drink anything hot. No coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

Suzy Ayers: A milestone or goal you hope to accomplish this year.

Christa:  I have a four book series in the works.  I’m hoping to release one if not two books this year.

Suzy Ayers: Who is a mentor or someone that you look up to/inspires you?

Christa:  I don’t have any mentors. But I look up to author Elle Aycart. I love her story telling and writing style.

Suzy Ayers: What is your favorite/least favorite part of the writing process?

Christa:  I think the majority of us authors have a love/hate relationship with the writing processing. One minute we are in love with our work in progress, the next we’re ready to delete the entire thing.  It’s a vicious cycle.

Suzy Ayers: What is the biggest piece of advice you find that you give most often to aspiring writers?

Christa:  Don’t fall into the trends and write for yourself.

Love it Christa! I wholeheartedly agree!

Suzy Ayers: Where are you going next? What is your next project/book?

Christa:  Like I mentioned before, I have four book series coming out.  The first book to be released is titled, “Dream On.”

Suzy Ayers:  What is something you have learned the hard way and would like to share?

Christa: When I was first starting out in author world, I was naïve and trusted people I shouldn’t have. Unfortunately, I learned that some only look out for themselves and they will step on the little people to get ahead in this industry. To me that’s just sad.

Suzy Ayers: Do you have a vice that appears especially when you write?

Christa:   The only vice I can think of would Diet Coke. I consume way too much of it.
ON THE ROPES
***Author's note*** This book is not recommended for readers under the age of eighteen, due to strong sexual content, language, child abuse, and drug reference. Also, this is the first book in a series.

A murderer’s child…A foster child…A troubled teen…Gabriel ‘The Saint’ Vega has never had an easy life. Being shuffled from one foster home to another after his father murdered his mother, he found himself in and out of trouble with the law. Never giving a damn about himself, let alone anyone else, his life was spiraling out of control; fast. Until one man and one sport changed everything.

Frankie Carbone taught Saint how to handle his anger and rejection; by fighting it out in the ring. On his way to stardom, Saint finds himself pushed into the spotlight and into the arms of more women than he can ever imagine; he’s completely content with one night stands and random sex.

Then Salem Harris comes walking into his life and changes his game plan. Saint finds himself wanting Salem in all the ways that scare him. She is off limits; taken. But that doesn’t stop Saint from going after what he wants, and he wants her.

Frankie showed Saint a new way of life with Boxing, but will Salem give him the one thing he's never known – love? Will Saint find himself fighting for the one thing he thinks he doesn't deserve or will Salem end up breaking his heart? Gabriel ‘The Saint’ Vega has had to fight for every good thing he's gotten in his life.

I am excited to welcome Renee Rose to my Author Spotlight!

I've passed my love for her books and writing to my real life and author friends. And now I hope this post will reach even more. Renee has a way with tension and desire that brings me into the story. So far I have not been disappointed. Check out my review on The Bossman here.

I always start with this question and love the answers I get!!

Suzy Ayers:  What is something people aren’t likely to know about you?

Renee: I’m a Feldenkrais Practitioner(R), which is a form of movement education using the nervous system to bring the body into better alignment or improve function. I work with stroke patients, surgery recovery, and cerebral palsy.

Suzy Ayers: A milestone or goal you hope to accomplish this year.

Renee:  I’m hoping to sign with an agent and sell my first children’s novel this year.

Suzy Ayers: Who is a mentor or someone that you look up to/inspires you?

Renee: I love to see people following their dreams and making things happen in their lives. Last year, an author who I admire greatly, Casey McKay, started her own publishing company (Baronet Press). I am honored to publish with her and love seeing things from the ground up.

Soo exciting!!

Suzy Ayers: What is your favorite/least favorite part of the writing process?

Renee: I sometimes get lost in the middle of getting a book down.  Energy shifts, I forget what I’ve already written and go off on another direction….sigh.  It’s where I am now with a book, actually. LOL.  I love editing. I know a lot of people hate that part, but I love it.  Maybe it was the 13 years as a technical writer.

Suzy Ayers: What is the biggest piece of advice you find that you give most often to aspiring writers?

Renee: Keep writing!  The best way to improve is through practice, and output keeps your name out there.

Suzy Ayers: Tell us the book you’re excited to share with us...

Renee: My latest book is Mob Mistress, a story about a hair stylist in financial crisis who enters into a mistress arrangement with a mafia man.

Picture
Mob Mistress blurb

When hair stylist Lexi Tyler finds herself evicted from her apartment, her best friend sets her up with the mobster Bobby Manghini, knowing he likes to play sugar daddy. He offers her a luxury apartment overlooking the city and spending cash every time he sees her, but one thing is clear: he is the bossman.

Lexi soon discovers Bobby backs up his rules with firm, over the knee discipline, but he also takes responsibility for all her problems, giving her more support than she ever dreamed of having from a man.

Mobster Bobby Manghini likes to be the man in control, particularly with women, which is why he prefers a mistress for sex, even though he’s no longer married. When he strikes a deal with Lexi to be at his beck and call, he finds in her the full package -- a hot, intelligent woman who is turned on by his dominance and willing to submit to his punishment. But when she finds out he doesn’t have a wife, she is hurt by the deception and severs all ties.

Can he prove to her their relationship meant more than a business arrangement? Or will he lose the one woman willing to give him everything he ever desired?

Excerpt

“So you’re staying? You’re still my goomah?”

“Did you bring any money?” she asked with mock greediness. “No, just kidding. Bad joke. I sort of hate myself for using you like this.”

“I don’t hate myself for using you. At all,” he said, waggling his eyebrows in an appreciative leer. “And yes, I brought the money. Go get dressed and we’ll take it down to the salon together.”

She surged from his lap at the order. “Do I have time for a quick shower?” she called over her shoulder as she padded to the bedroom.

“Do what you need to do,” he said.

She turned on the water and popped in the shower, making it quick, not wanting to keep him waiting. Their discussion had relieved the heaviness and confusion she’d felt all morning, and now as she shampooed her hair and shaved her legs, a new excitement bubbled up.

When she stepped out of the shower, Bobby was sitting on the bathroom countertop, waiting.

“Eek! You surprised me. I’m sorry, am I taking too long?”

As usual, he looked casually elegant, his khaki slacks crisply ironed, the short-sleeved button-down square cut at the bottom to wear un-tucked. “No, I just wanted to watch,” he said, his eyes roving across her body.

She dropped her towel to give him the full view. “I’m yours to ogle.”

He grinned. “My cousin Joey just texted to say he has tickets to the Cubs game today. You want to head down to Wrigley Field after we stop by the salon?”

She lit up, the idea of spending the afternoon with him appealing. “I’d love to! Oh wait,” she said, giving him a coy look over her shoulder as she headed out the door. “Why are you asking? I thought I was available to you anytime you demand, unless I’m working.”

He lunged and caught her around the waist before she made it out the door. Hauling her back, he put one foot on the toilet and bent her over his knee, delivering a series of stinging smacks to her ass. “Are you really going to tell me how to do my job?”

“No, sir!” she yelped.

He stopped and rubbed away the sting, then craned his head around to inspect her backside. She had examined herself in the mirror that morning, fascinated with how quickly her butt recovered from punishment. Only a few red lines remained from her whipping.

“How is your sweet little ass today?” he asked.

She considered lying. She certainly didn’t want him to ever spank her harder than he had. But he seemed so good at reading her, he would probably know a fib when he heard it. “A little sting-y in places, but mostly fine,” she admitted.

He turned her to face him, squeezing and kneading her ass. “Does it scare you to hear I can’t wait to spank you again?” he murmured.

She swallowed. Her pussy said no, regardless of her reluctance to admit anything to her demanding lover.

He released her and gave her ass a slap. “Go on and get ready.”

“Yes, sir,” she laughed and went into the bedroom, pulling on a halter top and short cut-off jeans.

“Mmm, mmm,” Bobby said when he saw her. “Now that’s what I’m talking about.”

Ruth Staunton is my #quickpic for #AuthorSpotlight Jan 2015 with 2 new releases

1/22/2015

Ruth Staunton is another one of those fun spanking author friends of mine. We participate in a blog hop on Saturday's Called #SatSpanks! So be sure to check her and all of the fun spanko's out each and every week. Don't forget to be bring your wallet. I hear that so many people find new and fun authors on a weekly basis. At least 25-45 authors participate on any given week. So you're sure to find your next favorite author. Also, the posts are only snippets to get your pulse racing.

Ruth is also in a small group that has written a book within a small fictional town called Corbin's Bend, where everyone in the town believes in domestic discipline...well mostly. Some unsuspecting newcomers learn the hard way I am sure.

Check out the below and see what she has to say...
Suzy Ayers: What is something people aren’t likely to know about you?

RUTH:     I once worked as an assistant art teacher at a Girl Scout camp, even though I can’t draw a straight line.

That's actually really funny!!

Suzy Ayers: A milestone or goal you hope to accomplish this year.

RUTH:     I have two books in the works right now and a third I hope to finish before the year is out. If I do, that will be the most I’ve ever written in one year, which also doesn’t count the two books I have that are about to be published. That will make this my most productive year ever.

Awesome, I know so many struggle. And to do so many full length books is fantastic!

Suzy Ayers: What is your favorite/least favorite part of the writing process?

RUTH:      My favorite part is the character creation work. I love getting to know these people who live inside my head. My least favorite part is revising. It’s painful to cut out those things you have worked so hard on.

I agree. I think editing others work is so much easier, because you aren't so personally connected and you can see their "faults".

Suzy Ayers: What is the biggest piece of advice you find that you give most often to aspiring writers?

RUTH:     Write what you love to read. If you don’t love it, how can you expect anybody else to?

Book Title: Learning to Live Again

Book Link: Coming January 29, 2015

Teaser: “Is that what you think this is about?” Grant asked. “You think I’m punishing her for being angry?” He had moved over to lean against the wall and was watching her intently, arms crossed. Lainie opened her mouth to speak, but Grant continued before she got the chance. "No, I don't think you do. In fact, I think you know exactly why I did what I did. You're only in here discussing it because Kathleen came running to you."

That was uncomfortably true, but Lainie protested nonetheless. "It's not that," she insisted. "I just know what is going to be like for her. She's going to be miserable, and then she’s going to try to make me miserable in return. You don’t know what it’s like to be stuck in the house with a moody teenager all day. It’s going to be hell. It’ll be more of a punishment for me than for her. Trust me. I speak from experience."

“That’s even more reason why she doesn’t need to get her way,” Grant said. “She’ll find out quickly that whining and complaining will only make her lose it longer. It’ll be different this time. I’ll be here, for one.”

“No you won’t,” Lainie said stubbornly. “You have to go to Denver in the morning and then I’m sure you’ll find some other errand or something to do. It’ll be me dealing with her and you know it. It always is.”

“It won’t be this time,” Grant persisted. “I’m here now. If she gives you any trouble while I’m gone, just let me know and I will deal with it. It’s my job to set boundaries and enforce them.”

Lainie eyed him skeptically. She really wished she could believe him. She wanted to. It wasn’t that she did not believe he was sincere. She knew he meant it, but meaning it and actually doing it were two different things. Grant didn’t exactly have a good track record when it came to following through and helping her with the kids. However much she wished she could, she had a hard time believing that that was really going to change now.

Grant must have seen what she was thinking on her face because he continued, “Hey, I thought you agreed to let me be the Head of Household?”

He knew damn well she had, but she didn’t believe for a minute that was some magic wand that was going to change everything. “Is that going to be your answer for everything now?” she asked irritably.

Grant didn’t answer. Instead, he crossed over to her and took her chin in his hand. “Didn’t you?”

Reluctantly, Lainie nodded, huffing in exasperation.

“Then trust me to handle it.”

Why did he insist on acting like everything was just so simple? It wasn’t, not at all. Things didn’t change like that. Annoyed, she tried to twist away, but he held her fast, leveling her with a steady look, waiting and clearly expecting an answer.

“Okay, okay, fine,” Lainie said. “Just remember I warned you she was going to make everyone’s life miserable.”

Grant didn’t seem concerned in the least. “Duly noted. Oh, and Lainie, you remember you agreed to let me handle it because if you go against me with the kids again, I’ll not only discipline the child. I’ll spank you too.”

Suzy Ayers: Where are you going next? What is your next project/book?

RUTH:   Grant and Lainie have a follow-up story being released as part of Love in the Rockies, Corbin’s Bend’s Valentine’s Day collection, which will be released on February 1. The story, Unexpected Surprises, covers their first Valentine’s Day in Corbin’s Bend.

Unexpected Surprises by Ruth Staunton

For their first Valentine's Day in Corbin's Bend, Grant Taylor is determined to do something special for his wife Lainie. Lainie, however, has plans of her own. As a middle school teacher, she has volunteered to help plan and chaperone the Valentine dance that is being held for the middle and high school students.

When Grant hears this, he insists that she is working too hard and needs to cut back on the things she has committed to, the first and foremost being the Valentine's Day dance. Lainie insists that she can't do that and finally he reluctantly agrees to let her work part of the dance and then come home.

Under extreme protest, Lainie agrees, but when the time comes to admit to her supervisor that she can't chaperone, she changes her mind and decides Grant is being unreasonable. She determines to chaperone the dance anyway and deal with Grant later. Unfortunately, Lainie's plan doesn't work out quite like she intended it to and she is in for quite a few unexpected surprises.

There’s also going to be a Facebook release party for Love in the Rockies on February 6. It’s going to be lots of fun most if not all of the writers, including myself, will be there. There are going to be giveaways and prizes. You can find out more information about that
here

Katherine Deane #AuthorSpotlight @KatherineDeane1

11/30/2014

I met Katherine officially in a my Facebook PM box, unofficially in a spanking author Facebook group. We are a friendly group and I was--and still am behind in my Author Spotlights and reviews. RL, you know how that goes. At any rate, I asked for some people to speak up if they wanted promotion and she rose her little hand.

She was so sweet and made me smile when she tried to warn me about her book, The Coach's Dicipline. I laughed because I do the same thing. It's not that we care if you like us, okay, maybe a little. However, we really don't want to offend our readers. How many times have you read a review and seen a readers horror written in black in white? Trust us we all cringe.

I assured her nothing would offend me, at least not what she had in mind. She has yet to see my stuff. lol For me I enjoy a story that has some truth to it. And I don't mean based on a true story, I mean a character with depth. A character that goes through real life events. If you the reader can connect then that is half the battle. Okay, enough of my babbling. On to my awesome star this month! Ms Katherine Deane...
Picture
Suzy Ayers: What is something people aren’t likely to know about you?

Katherine Deane: LOL, no one ever believes this about me, but I used to be an Army Captain.

Suzy Ayers: A milestone or goal you hope to accomplish this year.

Katherine Deane:  I am chomping at the bit to finish my first paranormal, and turn it into a series! Man, I am so close I can feel it. You know that feeling when something calls to you so hard, and for so long, that you almost feel like you will be nothing if you don’t accomplish it? That’s how I feel with this paranormal.

Suzy Ayers: Who is a mentor or someone that you look up to/inspires you?

Katherine Deane:  I adore Patricia Green, and really look up to her. She has so much all around experience, and is awesome about sharing. LOL, I have called on her for anything from “how to purl” in a knitting project, to “what the heck is up with all these was statements, and how can I get rid of some of these”.  I like that about her.

Suzy Ayers: What is your favorite/least favorite part of the writing process?

Katherine Deane: This is going to sound horrible, but my least favorite part is finding time to write.  Since writing isn’t a full time job for me, and I have to squeeze it in where I can, it becomes very difficult to actually formulate words from the awesome pictures in my head. I have a gazillion plots and ideas and pictures!! All just waiting to be written. But when I finally get ten minutes here or there, (or even worse, two hours – but at nighttime, when I am fried), I can’t seem to engage. And then I get frustrated. So I either force something out that sounds pretty much like backwards, Spanish, in pig latin. (LOL, I do that with my sister every once in a while to keep her on her toes ;) ), or I start brainstorming new ideas for other cool stories.

This could be why it takes a bit longer for me to write, during the school year. I am hoping school breaks will be a good, solid writing time for me.

Suzy Ayers: Tell us the book you’re excited to share with us (include excerpt)

Katherine Deane: The Coach’s Discipline will always hold a special place in my heart – not only was it my debut solo book, but it also touched me in more ways than a book ever has.

It has a sweet side to it, because of the plot (an Olympic caliber runner who doesn’t see her own worth), and it has a lot of cheesy, fun humor. But it also has a lot of spankings and satisfying sex scenes. I loved creating a character who was a bit conflicted by her desires to be spanked and dominated, while also desperately needing to find her own worth. Her coach, and lover had to figure out ways to protect her, but more importantly, empower her.
And that’s what I love so much about this book. It has a bit of everything. But the biggest part to take out of it is the importance to trust and love yourself.

There were lots of cool scenes I could have shared, but I chose to go with one of the sexy fun scenes.

Picture
Ice Play
Standing behind her, he had the perfect view of everything - her tight little ass, the dark curling hairs of her pussy, and he was pleased to see, the wetness between her plump lips.
“Are you enjoying this, Claire?” He stroked her bottom, and ran his fingers up the inside of her leg, back out to the bottom of her cheeks as she groaned and rocked.
“Nope!” She grinned. “Eep!” she cried at the hard swat he placed on her right cheek.  “I thought this was supposed to be a cool down.” She pretended to glare from under the blindfold. “You’re not a very good coach.” She wrinkled her nose and giggled as he spanked her again and again.
“Not a good coach?” He pretended to be offended, and swatted her thighs. “Here I am giving you personalized attention…” He swatted her again. “a full body massage…” He gave her a fast flurry of spanks that had her squealing. “And a chance to become in tune with your body. I think you owe me an apology, young lady.”
“No way!” She giggled and shimmied her hips.  “I stand by my assessment, coach.”
“All right, this changes things a bit,” he said, enjoying their little game. “Don’t move.”
Taking a piece of ice from his bucket, he massaged her ear, enjoying her little shudders, as she tried not to move.
He trailed the cube, down the smooth line of her neck, over to her back, and down to her hip.
“Ungh,” she groaned, and tightened her fists onto the table.
“Remember, don’t move.”
“Yes, Coach.” She bit her lip and breathed heavily into her hands.
Taking the ice, he massaged a circle around her pink bottom, pressing lightly into the crease between her cheeks, up the crease, and back down to her inner thighs.
She mewled and tightened her legs and butt, but made no other move as she lay there.
“How’s that feel, Jacobs?” He followed the line up her inner thigh, coming short of her wet pussy, leaving her groaning, and exhaling deep breaths.
“So… cold.” She wrinkled her forehead under her mask, and took more stuttered breaths.  “But it’s also quite, mmm, hot!” she squealed as he placed the ice cube between her legs barely brushing her wet pussy lips.
“Do you want more?” He stroked the ice backward from her wet lips along the line of her bottom cheeks, stopping to press against the puckered hole.
“Oh God!” She shrieked, and almost sprung from the table. But he gave her a swift smack to the warm pink side of her bare ass, and she got the message.
“I said don’t move.” He grabbed another piece of ice and massaged it on the warm hand print he had just left on her bottom.  “This is your punishment for being so rude to me. I ought to take you to the very end, and not…” he stroked the ice between her cheeks as she whimpered, “let you cross the finish line.”
She groaned and sagged against the table. “I’m sorry. You’re the best coach in the entire world. Please forgive me.” Her voice was a mixture of humor and arousal.  “I promise to never make fun of your coach-hood again.” She laughed and shrieked as he plunged the ice deep into her bottom hole.

BRRR!!! OMG I would kill him hahaha

Suzy Ayers: Where are you going next? What is your next project/book?

Katherine Deane: Right now, I am working on the edits for a fun, contemporary spanking romance. But on tap after that, are:

The sequel to The Coach’s Discipline (bad girl, Morgan meets bad boy, Oz)

This one will be lots of cool action and sexy spankings. It will even dabble with a bit of light BDSM.

And The paranormal I have anxiously awaiting the right timing for Redd’s story. (the butt kicking, Slayer, from The Winter Storm.)

(I can’t say anything more about it at the moment. But it is going to be awesome!)
;)

Thanks so much for having me, Suzy!

I am so glad, I learned a few things about you too! I too am writing a paranormal follow up. Hmm Dueling paranormies! ;)

I met Jason because I basically forced myself on him...er. Ok, so I told him to give me his information, so I could pimp him. LOL Yes, his books I mean. As you know I like to do that. Well, at any rate I posted him on my Sassy Kat Promotions page on Facebook and well, he's stuck around. ;) He has a few pieces out there right now, including a poem I just posted the other day on my free reads section.

Book Description:

Darkness Apart is an anthology of 8 stories ranging from a demon pregnancy to a possessed church. Each story is a little piece of something you aren't sure exists, but worry that does. You never know what is out there.

It might be out there.

In the... darkness apart.

Suzy Ayers: What is something people aren’t likely to know about you?

Jason: I studied for the ministry before life got seriously derailed. I’m on my 8th time through the Old Testament and my 16th time through the New Testament.

Suzy Ayers: A milestone or goal you hope to accomplish this year.

Jason: I never planned on writing three anthologies (one is on the way), but it happened. I am hoping to release a full length novel by the end of 2015

Suzy Ayers: What is the biggest piece of advice you find that you give most often to aspiring writers?

Jason: Write what THEY want, not what everyone else thinks they should.

I assume you mean what the writer wants. I totally agree. Being fake and following what the crowd does within a fad makes you fade just as quickly and pigeonholes you. If you cannot write creatively and from the heart than you are not meeting your potential. IMHO ;)

Suzy Ayers: Tell us the book you’re excited to share with us..

Jason: My Latest anthology “Thoughts of Hell”. I think it shows growth as a writer.

I guess it's a mystery...

Suzy Ayers: Where are you going next? What is your next project/book?

Jason: The next project is a third and hopefully final anthology. It is due out early 2015. It's going to have some different pieces compared to the other anthologies I’ve done. I’m curious as to how it’s going to turn out.

His studies seem to play a role in his writing. We all draw from what we know, which I believe it the best way to write. Check out the book and author links below. He has a freebie and his other books are free to borrow from Amazon Prime.
About the Author

Jason Mueller's closest friends call him Jake. As he is mostly a horror/supernatural writer, its yet to be seen if you want to get that close or not! Yes, he bites. Jason studied for the ministry for several years before life took a giant swing at him, forcing him to change courses a bit. He's read the Bible, both Old and New Testaments more times than you would believe. To this day, much of his work has a religious backdrop to it. Jason escaped from Illinois when he was just about to enter his 20s and hasn't looked back. He currently resides in Indiana and has four children who are his entire world - two boys and twin girls. Jason is currently working on various projects and hopes to keep you scared to go to sleep for years to come.

So Ms Melody Parks has graced my page this month! I am so thrilled. She is a faithful promoter, which as you know I am big into that. We met in a little closed group of authors (that has since grown) and she's been so sweet to me. I enjoy reading her work. So check out the Saturday Spanking Blog Hop or WIP it up Wednesdays to find her snippets and tantalizing pieces.
Suzy Ayers: What is something people aren’t likely to know about you?

Melody Parks: That I never want to die drowning. It’s my worst fear. I had a dream about it once… bad experience, haunts me yet to this day.

Suzy Ayers: Who is a mentor or someone that you look up to/inspires you?

Melody Parks: I’m going to let that one go to Maddie Taylor as mentor. She’s also a huge inspiration for me and has been very fun to work with.

Suzy Ayers: What is your favorite/least favorite part of the writing process?

Melody Parks:

Favorite Part- getting to the middle part of the book I’m writing when everything kind of hits that peak.

Least favorite part- Finding endings that leave the reader wishing there was more, and the editing process.

Suzy Ayers: What is the biggest piece of advice you find that you give most often to aspiring writers?

Melody Parks:
“Don’t give up.” And one that Cara Bristol recently shared. “Edit out as many wases as you can from your manuscripts” I’ve found that to be a very helpful tip.

Suzy Ayers: Tell us the book you’re excited to share with us…

Melody Parks:

Because it’s October and thus the perfect season. I’d like to share ‘The Immortal’s Bite’ …

Just when Cassandra Dare thought things couldn’t get much worse, she is suddenly face to face with none other than Gregorie Darnsworth telling her he’s a vampire.

She wants to laugh. Sure he’s old fashioned and his house is full of furniture older than time, he is a little pale, and refuses to show his teeth when he smiles, but that doesn’t mean he’s really a vampire. Does it?

Here’s an excerpt…

He let out a slow breath, his eyes focused on her lips. “I’m a vampire,” he said sadly, his voice barely above a whisper. He waited for the gasp, her mouth to drop open, or for her to scramble to get up, but instead he saw her lips purse together as if she was angered.

“The Twilight Zone comment was a joke. I want some real answers or I’m going back up those stairs—”

Jasper came into the room with a tray. “I know you only asked for water, but just in case I brought a small bowl of soup and a taste of my famous cornbread.” Unlike the tray he had brought her last time this one was a bit more modern, it folded out to make a small table. “I won’t be offended if you don’t eat, but you’re missing some great cornbread if you don’t try it.”

“Thank you, Jasper,” Gregorie said, shooting him a look that said—get lost.

“Thank you,” she said, reaching for the water as Jasper left the room.

“I’m afraid it’s true. I wanted to avoid telling you for as long as possible, but sooner is probably better.” He moved a hand to his chin, rubbing nervously at his lower lip with his index finger.

She stopped midway with the glass of water in her hand and looked directly at him. “Is this where I find out that coming back down here was a big mistake? You really are some weird gothic freak that wants to be a vampire? Is that why that door over there looks so out of place? Is it your weird gothic torture room or something?” The glass in her hand was starting to shake.

“Please don’t be frightened, I am not a freak, nor do I want to be a vampire. The door is from an old library that was torn down years ago and I wished to have it. Behind it is my personal library.”

“Do you really think I’m going to believe you’re a vampire? Like Santa and the Easter Bunny—they do not exist!” There was an edge of annoyance in her voice that steadily grew louder as she spoke.
“Unfortunately, dear Cassandra, you are wrong,” he said, irritated by her flimsy choice of reference. “One of those three does exist, and I am your proof.”

Suzy Ayers: Where are you going next? What is your next project/book?

Melody Parks: I’m working on a medieval story that I hope to finish very soon. Corbet and Emilia are turning into one hot couple ;)
After that I am hoping to move back into Pleasure Bay for a while and work with Maddie on book 2. I hear Chef Byron is really cranking up the heat in his kitchen.

Felicity and I met on Twitter. I have met so many wonderful writers on Twitter. I read one of her books and DAMN it was smoking. Friday's Lesson made me want to sit up and get my lesson. ;)

Felicity found me on Facebook and is an awesome supporter there as well. I love finding others that share posts. It is hard networking and navigating around the red tape.

Since then we have been in an anthology together, which can be found at all the retailers and is free everywhere, but Amazon. However, it includes short stories from multiple authors so is well worth the 99 cents. (see at the bottom for the links).
Suzy Ayers: What is something people aren’t likely to know about you?

Felicity Brandon:   Hi Suzy! Thanks for having me here and starting with such a good question! How about this? As well as being a writer of hard-core, kinky sexuality, I am also a passionate advocate of human rights and freedom of speech. I support local, national and international charities, such as Amnesty International and am a fierce supporter of ending prejudice and inequality wherever it surfaces.

Suzy Ayers: A milestone or goal you hope to accomplish this year.

Felicity Brandon:   I always have two on-going goals:

1. To keep improving my writing.

2. 2. To keep publishing my work!

Beyond this I want to continue my current series of stories (The Kink Between Us) and conclude my first ever erotic novel.

Suzy Ayers: Who is a mentor or someone that you look up to/inspires you?

Felicity Brandon:  For me it’s Anne Rice; she’s an absolute inspiration to me. I adore the texture and tone of her writing. Her characters are as engaging as they are stimulating. I also
respect her ability to keep producing high quality work. It’s my most sincere hope that I will be able to do the same!

Suzy Ayers: What is the biggest piece of advice you find that you give most often

Felicity Brandon:  I consider myself to be an aspiring writer, so am not sure that I’m best placed to offer much in the way of advice... What I might say is this: If you love to write (and I mean if you *really* love it in a way that keeps you awake at night and drives you on during the day,) then get writing! Don’t let anyone else stop you. I was told once by a careers professional (at school) that being an ‘author’ wasn’t a ‘proper job’! I stupidly listened to that advice for far too long! What I realize now is that it’s the proper job

Here here!!

Suzy Ayers: Tell us the book you’re excited to share with us

Felicity Brandon:   What I am most excited about right now is the follow-up to *Destination Anywhere* which I am penning as we speak! This one has taken on a life of its own and I think
I am going to have to release it in two-installments... I have included an excerpt for your readers (but please bear in mind that is unedited and unpublished material! ;-)

“In my mind’s eye I can see myself and know how I must look to Rob. Bound, gagged and blindfolded; my legs are pushed wide apart and the material of my dress is collecting higher and higher at my thighs. My round breasts are exposed and clamped.

The cold metal of the chain rests on my midriff and adds as a tormenter of its own. I am turning into a drooling, grinding and moaning mess and the sheer fact of my appearance is testament to the fact that my inhibitions are now on the floor. I no longer care what he thinks of me. Maybe he wants to stop the vehicle and fuck me over the back seat? Maybe he just wants to get me the hell out of his car! I would understand either emotion if I were him, but neither concerns me anymore. I just want him to get me to my master. I want to
feel him, touch him, smell him and taste him...”

Suzy Ayers: Where are you going next? What is your next project/book?

Felicity Brandon:   I am determined to get my first full-length novel out there for my readers to enjoy.

This has been a huge mission of mine and I am so pleased with how it is turning out (in fact I have already started to sequel!)

Thank you again for hosting me!

I'm so glad you stopped over!!

Suzy Ayers: What is something people aren’t likely to know about you?

Corey Harper:   I’m a guy, and a Dom. J Though I’ve posted this in many different places, I still get asked, probably because there aren’t that many of us guys writing romance, and even fewer that are Doms writing romance.

Suzy Ayers: A milestone or goal you hope to accomplish this year.

Corey Harper:  At least one new trilogy.

Suzy Ayers: Who is a mentor or someone that you look up to/inspires you?

Corey Harper: Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

Suzy Ayers: What is the biggest piece of advice you find that you give most often to aspiring writers?

Corey Harper:  Plant your behind in the chair and write. There’s no secret formula, no shortcut. It’s hard, sometimes frustrating, but ultimately very rewarding, work. I don’t believe in writer’s block—just sit down and write. Anything. If I ever feel temporarily stuck, I just start a conversation between my hero and heroine. It always leads somewhere.

Suzy Ayers: Tell us the book you’re excited to share with us...

Corey Harper:  Book Three of the Baobhan Sith Trilogy, “Legacy of Desire and Blood”, releases June 19, 2014.

Picture
Excerpt:
Duncan pulled the car into a spot in front of one of the taller buildings on the west side of the street, where the SUV could be in the shade. Wisps of afternoon fog were just starting to paint pearl–gray streaks in the blue sky, but had not yet blocked the sun.

Kenzi looked out his window at the store they had parked near. “Women’s athletic clothing?” she said.

“It’s the most practical apparel for our current vigorous lifestyle.”

“That’s logical Duncan talking.”

He took her hand. “I like the way you look in spandex.”

“Oh,” she said, smiling. “Do you really?”

He traced his big thumb across the back of her hand, circling each knuckle. “It makes my blood boil when I see you in it.”

“Wow. Spandex it is, then.” Kenzi tilted her head towards the back seat. “What about them?”

Duncan was careful not to turn and look. “I think they’ll be fine. We’ll keep an ear out in case they change their minds and try to kill each other.”

Duncan lifted the lid on the center console compartment, reached his hand inside. Kenzi saw his fingers tapping a complex rhythm underneath the lip of the compartment, and the entire console compartment clicked and lifted an inch. Duncan pulled it up. Inside was a steel–lined box, filled with cash. Kenzi’s eyes goggled.

“You drive a bank vault around?” she said.

He gave a short chuckle, then looked grim. “Malcolm has no doubt seized as many of my assets as he can find. We don’t have time for me to sort through them. But it’s fine—I’ve stashed currency and gold here and there over the years as a precaution for emergencies.”

“Like buying me clothes.” She leaned over the cash–filled compartment and kissed his cheek.

“That’s emergency number one.” He let his hand trail down her spine, and across the soft curve of her bottom, gave her a soft pat that nevertheless made her jump.

Duncan gathered up what Kenzi thought was an absurd amount of cash just for clothing, and stuffed it into the pocket of his jeans. The two of them got out of the car and kept to the shade as they crossed the sidewalk towards the clothing shop.

It was strange, being among regular humans again. Until that moment, Kenzi hadn’t realized how long it had been—was it in Maine, with Otis and his son, that she had last shared space with mortals?

And certainly it had been prior to her newly–awakened craving to feed on warm, living beings. Crossing the sidewalk, dodging pedestrians going about their day, was more difficult than a child passing a chocolate shop without demanding to go in.

Her nostrils flared without her thinking about it, taking in all that delicious warm blood aroma.

“Steady, little one,” Duncan said. He took her hand and squeezed it. She encircled his first two fingers with her small hand and clung to him, drawing her strength from his seemingly endless willpower.

“You asked me earlier if I’d mind giving up being… what we are,” she whispered to him. “More than ever, I want this craving to stop. I can’t stand it!”

“We’ll do whatever we need to do to get there,” he promised her, leading her into the clothing boutique.

Once inside the quiet shop, Kenzi relaxed a little. Only one other female patron was browsing the racks of clothing, and the twenty–something sales clerk sat on a chair behind the counter, reading on her phone. Though both humans smelled yummy, it was less overwhelming than the dozens of people she’d scented outside the shop.

Then Kenzi noticed something as Duncan closed the door behind them: both women came to attention like someone had clapped their hands. The clerk looked up from her reading, and the other shopper froze with a sports bra in her hand. Both women locked their eyes on Duncan.

Kenzi realized she had never seen him among human females, and had never pondered the effect he might have on them. The looks the women were giving him were far more intense than a female might normally give a handsome, muscular man.

Kenzi turned partly away from the women and murmured, “They’re staring at you.”

Duncan looked at her, then around the shop. “Oh. Right. That happens.” He lowered his voice. “It’s a male sith pheromone thing. Makes being a predator that much easier.”

Kenzi could hear the women’s pulses speeding up, see their pupils dilating. Her nostrils flared, and this time not from the scent of blood.

“Umm, we should probably do this quickly, and go,” Kenzi said, sliding her arm through his and pulling herself close to him.

He put his hand atop hers. “You don’t need to rush, sweetness. It will take James awhile to arrive with his delivery. Take your time.”

Oh yeah, right. With another look at the two women, who were all but drooling as they eyed Duncan, Kenzi went to the first rack she came to and started pulling hangers off, tossing the clothing items over her arm. She went to a second rack and did the same.

The clerk stood from behind the counter and came towards them. Her eyes stayed on Duncan the entire time, even when she stood in front of them and asked, “How may I help you today?”

“You may—” Even when Kenzi spoke, the woman didn’t pull her eyes from Duncan, who was looking absently at the array of athletic wear, seemingly unaware of the attention he was receiving. Kenzi stood directly in front of Duncan, between his towering bulk and the salivating clerk.

“Yes, you may help,” Kenzi said, shoving the armload of clothing at the girl. “I’d like to try these on.”

“What?” the clerk said, pulling her eyes from Duncan with obvious reluctance, to more or less focus on Kenzi. “Oh, yes, of course, ma’am. I’ll take these to the fitting room.” Her gaze drifted back to Duncan, and she moved a step closer to him, her chest rising as she breathed him in. “Will there be anything else, sir? I mean, ma’am?”

Ma’am? Kenzi looked younger than even this little slip of a thing. And certainly a lot meaner, if the trollop kept eyeing Duncan the way she was.

Now the other patron came over. “I could use some help, too,” she said, talking to the clerk but looking at Duncan.

This was getting ridiculous. Neither the clerk nor the other customer had even noticed that Kenzi was barefoot, and clad only in a man’s shirt with a belt around the waist. It was Sebastopol, after all, but still. In another minute the two harpies would be crawling all over him, and Kenzi didn’t trust herself not to flick one or both of them across the little shop. And Duncan was apparently oblivious to the whole thing as he looked at a rack of yoga pants. He pulled out two pair, one in royal purple, the other emerald green.

“Like your eyes,” he smiled as he handed the green ones to her.

She checked the tag—the sweet man had handed her size six—switched them for the same colors in her size, faced back towards Duncan. She’d turned her back for ten seconds, and the two overheated women had moved even closer to him. And he was looking at tops now, still unaware that he was the center of attention. She had to get him away from them before someone ended up bloody.

“Duncan, will you help me?” Kenzi said, taking the armload of clothing back from the clerk, who had made no move towards the fitting room.

“Of course, sweetness,” he said, plucking the bundle from her.

In his massive arms, her selection of garb looked tiny, an observation not lost on the other two women either.

“That’s okay,” Kenzi said to the clerk. “He’ll help me.”

“Are you sure?” the clerk said, turning a little sidelong to Duncan and— Good heavens, was she thrusting her rear towards him?

Kenzi grabbed Duncan’s hand. “Yes, it’s fine. Why don’t you help this nice woman here?”

“I’d rather help you,” the clerk said, not even pretending to look at Kenzi this time.

Okay, that was enough! Kenzi knew Duncan’s feelings on the matter, but desperate times. “You help this woman,” Kenzi said, the music of the Binding creeping into her voice. “Now. Be off with you.”

The girl shifted her gaze to Kenzi, who had tried to keep the darkness from tinting her eyes. She didn’t think she’d been entirely successful, because the clerk shrank back a little as her eyes widened. But still she didn’t move from Duncan’s right side, and the other woman flanked his left side.

Criminy! What kind of spell was Duncan casting here, that even her Binding couldn’t punch through?

He had frowned down at her when he heard the melody in her voice.

Don’t you dare look at me like that! Don’t you see what you’re doing to these women?

I… Oh. No, hadn’t noticed. Sorry, my darling. Hang on…

Duncan smiled at the two women on either side of him. “Ladies,” he said. “I am going to assist the love of my life with her fitting. You,” to the clerk, “help her,” the customer, “now.”

Both women came to attention like he’d slapped them, and with looks that reeked of disappointment, but still held hope, the clerk led the other woman to racks at the far end of the store.

“I apologize again, my sweet,” Duncan said to her, taking her hand in his free one. “I haven’t been around human females in some time.”

“I thought they were going to rape you!”

He laughed, a full male sound from deep in his belly that made Kenzi and the two women turn towards him. “Not a chance, darling. I only have nose for you,” he said, flaring his nostrils and breathing her in. “If anyone is to be taken advantage of here, it will be you.”

She held his gaze with her own, her emerald eyes sparkling. A moment longer, then she dropped her eyes. “I dare you,” she whispered.

His eyes went from that startling azure to midnight in an instant. He pulled her hand, towing her towards the rear of the shop.

His hand was so hot in hers that she thought she would light ablaze. Every cell in her body began tingling. What was he going to do?

Suzy Ayers: Where are you going next? What is your next project/book?

Corey Harper:   I’ve begun research on my next erotic paranormal romance trilogy, and expect to release the first book in that trilogy—and maybe the second—before the end of the year.

KAYLA LORDS
Kayla, well honestly, hmm, how did I meet her? Let’s see two separate men introduced me. One mentioned her boob displays, smiles. The other wanted to get my opinion on a book of hers.

The first you might think—oogling but more appreciation quite frankly. I don’t really associate with juveniles. And body appreciation is something Kayla and I have discussed via open forum many times. I have commented on her blog a few times about this subject. The objectification of women in the media and how “we” women internalize that, and have to unlearn all that negativity of perfection.

So the book I read was The Big Game, which is a fantasy of the main character being used by four male Dominants. The question was posed to me what I thought, by my male Dominant friend. Asking if it was harsh for a female to writ in such fashion. Without divulging too much about myself (blushes) I have to say I enjoyed it for the most part, however I did contact Kayla about it and that is where our friendship started. I offered to edit it for her. Hahaha. Anal, control freak that I am…but in the nicest way. I like to offer help to those that I see have talent. And let me point out the latter man (the boob appreciator) said that women don't write explicitly and other women don't like it. Guess we are a couple of boundary pusher/breakers Kayla.

Kayla admitted that The Big Game was one of her first attempts at writing and was currently working on a new book…the one that I will be promoting today, The Adventures of Sir and Babygirl.

Suzy Ayers: What is something people aren’t likely to know about you?

Kayla Lords: That's a harder question than you might imagine. I'm a sex blogger who talks about masturbation and my BDSM relationship five to six days a week. Is there any mystery left? LOL. Ok, so let's see...my father died when I was 22, just weeks before I graduated college and got married (to my now ex-husband). One of the last things he told me was to keep working towards my goals. He knew he was dying, but I didn't – I thought he was worried he wouldn't be able to attend graduation and the wedding. (Denial is pretty powerful.) Three days before my wedding, I questioned whether I should get married at all. And I remembered what my father told me. I got married because I thought my father wanted me to – temporarily forgetting that my father detested him. Nine years later, I divorced my husband and became a sex-blogging, erotic-writing, lover of the BDSM lifestyle. Life is strange.

Suzy Ayers: A milestone or goal you hope to accomplish this year.

Kayla Lords: This year, I hope to devote more time to my writing. In 2013, when I first started publishing my writing, I could only manage a few hours of writing on the weekends. Now, I'm working from home and am mindfully and purposefully scheduling a couple of hours a day for writing. I want to publish another volume of adventures for Johnathan and Katie (The Adventures of Sir and Babygirl) in 2014 – hopefully before the end of summer.

Suzy Ayers: Who is a mentor or someone that you look up to/inspires you?

This is going to sound awful, but I'm one of those lone wolf kind of people. I don't seek out other people – I'm a total introvert who would probably be a hermit if not for my two children. I don't have a mentor or anyone that I look up to. That being said, I'm inspired by all writers – the great ones that get major publishing agreements and the not-so-great ones who love writing so much that they don't care what other people think. I'm pretty partial to independently published authors since I am one. Not for nothin', but it takes a pretty stiff backbone to believe enough in your story to write it, get it edited, figure out the cover art, and then market the hell out of it without any type of support other than an indulgent family or significant other.

xxxkisses and hugs to that girl!

Suzy Ayers: What is the biggest piece of advice you find that you give most often to aspiring writers?

Kayla Lords: We're all told to “just write” so I don't give that advice. Most of the advice I give centers around marketing since that's what I do for a day job. And the biggest piece of advice is twofold: 1) You don't have to be everywhere, and you can't unless you have a team of 10 working for you. As authors, we want to get our book in front of people, and most people think that means you have to sign up for every single website known to man. Wrong. Join a few (three tops), get good at them, build an audience, and then consider adding another. Or don't – if your audience is strong enough, and you're selling books, there's no need to kill yourself to build a new audience from scratch somewhere else. 2) Don't just sell to people. Whether it's Facebook or Twitter or wherever, people don't want to be sold to. Yes, you should post your purchase links, your cover art, an excerpt, whatever. But that's not all you should post. Authors should share other content that they come across. Support fellow authors. Recommend good books (other than your own). Talk about things that matter to you. Social media sites are...well...social. People want to interact with their friends and the people they follow. They want to know there's a real person on the other end. You'll be tuned out if all you do is sell, sell, sell.

Suzy Ayers: Tell us the book you’re excited to share with us...

Kayla Lords: The Adventures of Sir and Babygirl is the story of Johnathan, a Dominant and Katie, a submissive. Katie has been recovering from a broken heart for too long, and Johnathan falls hard for her. This first book focuses on how they meet. When I first started working on this book, I wanted each chapter to work as a standalone story – an adventure, if you will. But I got so carried away telling their story that until the last couple of chapters (when it gets really hot), it's best to read each story back-to-back. Oh, and I've got an excerpt for you!

Now that Olivia was settled safely in bed and the kitchen cleaned, thanks to Johnathan’s help, Katie wondered what could possibly happen next in this crazy day. She felt Johnathan’s hands in her hair and closed her eyes. Purring like a cat, Katie melted into his arms.

Johnathan smiled as he felt the tension drain away from Katie. Winding his fingers through her hair, he gripped the strands tight and pulled hard. Katie’s eyes flew open as she whimpered and squirmed. Holding firm, Johnathan leaned forward and kissed her lips softly.  Katie’s mouth opened slightly, her tongue darting out to taste his lips.

Johnathan growled as he felt Katie’s soft, pink tongue on his skin. He opened his mouth, deepening their kiss, wanting to consume her completely. His tongue lapped against Katie’s. His teeth nibbled her lips, sinking in. He loved hearing her moans of pleasure and pain. Finally, Johnathan pulled away, releasing her mouth, his hand still holding her hair.

“Look at me, Katie-girl,” ordered Johnathan. “Look at me, and hear my words.” When he was sure he had her complete attention, he continued. “I care for you more than I thought possible. I want you to be a part of my life. I want Olivia to be a part of my life. You make me happier than I’ve been in a long time. You are an amazing woman and mother.”

Katie’s eyes filled with tears. She tried to look away but Johnathan stopped her with a firm pull on her hair.

“Look at me, girl!” Johnathan’s voice took on a feral tone. “I want you as a woman and as a submissive. I will not deny my nature much longer. I also won’t force you to accept something you don’t want. But I think you want this as much as I do. If you do, tell me. We’ll go slow, but just fucking tell me.”

Johnathan pulled Katie close again, molding her body to his, releasing her hair and wrapping his arms around her body. He nuzzled her neck, breathing in her scent. He loved the smell of her hair – rosemary and mint. The smell of her skin, a warm, earthy scent, made him rock hard. Katie slowly wound her arms around Johnathan, pulling him close. She trembled in his arms.

Suzy Ayers: Where are you going next? What is your next project/book?

Kayla Lords: I've got several projects in mind. As I mentioned earlier, I started work a few months ago on the next set of adventures for Johnathan and Katie. Last year, I started a nonfiction book about being a submissive. I will definitely finish that as soon as I can. I've got a couple of book ideas rattling around in my head. One will be menage and gay erotica – if I can get past the sex scenes in my head and figure out the plotline, LOL. The other is based on a historical figure from WWII that I read about one day. Apparently, in the midst of a war using heavy artillery and bombs, he went to every battle with a broadsword and wearing a kilt (and he survived!). I've decided he's a Dominant – and I'm going to tell his (mostly fictitious) story as soon as I can.

Bio

I discovered my love of writing at age seven and my sexual fantasies long before I reached adulthood. Now instead of experiencing sexual daydreams, I write them down and publish them for others to enjoy.

I write BDSM-themed erotica with a focus on dominance and submission (D/s). I not only want to turn my readers on, but I want them to realize that D/s is more than just a kink and isn't scary or degrading.

An avid blogger, tweeter, and talker, I love interacting with my readers as much as possible!
