He has two anthologies out with other authors, one with moi! –which is called Sexy Holiday Bites. (see all links below) He also has seven short stories under his name Ray Tullett with Mary Pappas in 14 Twisted Tales to Enthrall-Flash Fiction Stories.
He has also written stories for many authors (many of which can be found on his blog) and I can say he’s written a few about me. A couple of these erotic tidbits are hidden in plain sight in his first solo anthology: Tales for the Bedroom
Ray Tullett: I am an open book really, I guess people always seem surprised when they find out that I have 2 tattoos, I guess it is because I am quiet and work for a bank. I am very different at work to how I am in real life.
Suzy Ayers: Who is a mentor or someone that you look up to/inspires you?
Ray Tullett: In terms of writing I would say the late David Gemmell and the late Robert Jordan. Otherwise I find inspiration in all sorts of places from lots of different people.
Suzy Ayers: What is the biggest piece of advice you find that you give most often to aspiring writers?
Ray Tullet: Not many people have asked for advice but I would say “Have faith in yourself and keep writing”
Suzy Ayers: Tell us the book you’re excited to share with us...
Ray Tullett: I put together an erotic Anthology called “Tales for the Bedroom” which is a collection 13 stories with a heavy romantic feel. I like to think it is different to a lot of the books out there and is a great introduction to the world of Erotica.
As it is nearly Christmas my Excerpt is from a festively themed story:
He felt so aroused and knew that he wanted this divine creature, more than he had wanted anything else, in his long life. He made a small coughing sound, she stirred a little on the bed. He watched the play of the shadows, as her thighs moved against each other. She stretched her arms out, over her head towards the wall, pulling the shift higher still. Her knickers were sheer, and hinted at the treasure beneath. His mouth felt suddenly dry.
He coughed again, and she opened her eyes. Looking at him dreamily and laughing a little, said, “Hello, Santa”; he smiled at her and moved towards the bed. Her eyes widened when she saw his face more clearly. She was more awake now, conscious of a strange man in her bedroom, but still not sure it was real. He said to her, “Have you been naughty, or nice this year?” She looked taken aback, but said, “Naughty,” with a glint in her eyes.
Ray Tullett: Next I am thinking of putting together a horror anthology but am also working on a romance novella.... hopefully wont get those muddled up ;-)
